Again, Dickens' narration does a wonderful job of conveying Scrooge's mental state. Everything is breathless and urgent and wonderful! It really lets the relieved joy Scrooge is feeling shine through.

The fun he has spending money, in order for the Cratchits to have a great Christmas, is adorable. He is like a little kid in a candy store. It took us 25 days to get here and they were definitely worth the wait.
